On February 26, 2024, a routine council meeting was held. Our council representatives, Councillor McGrail and Councillor Jubenville, brought forth a motion to call on Chatham-Kent Council to oppose the proposed York1 site as well as contact many other forms of government.
We are grateful to our councillors, mayor and many other staff that played any part in the decision or presentation of evidence. Below you will find the motion (which was passed unanimously) as well as the link to the recorded meeting.
